24. KIDS TO KINGS — ATLANTA, GEORGIA
DEVIN PERKINS
Always one in the pipe. Yep, always. Um, it's just a, again, preparedness thing. Like, has this gun done anything during that amount of time that we've been sitting here talking?
DEVIN PERKINS
It's an inanimate object. It's not going to do anything unless someone removes it from this holster and then pulls the trigger. Anti-gunners blaming guns for situations, it literally makes no sense. And then on top of that, when something bad is done with a gun, do we not call people with guns to handle the person with a gun? So clearly it can't be the gun that's the problem. It's the person and their motives behind the gun that could be the problem. We got white kids shooting up schools. We got Black kids shooting up neighborhoods. We need to figure out why they're shooting at all, and stop that. And then we can get some real solutions and some more progress.
DEVIN PERKINS
Oh, Kids to Kings. What we do is we mentor groups of boys in Atlanta, Georgia. They all come from Title I charter schools. So these are kids coming out of the worst areas of Atlanta, and we proactively teach them about guns the right way. I want you guys to go to Atlanta and see it, and y'all get to see firsthand the solution to anything that's going wrong in the Second Amendment community.
