In Guns We Trust, home

After the film

You’ve seen it. Now talk about it.

The film was made to start a conversation, best had with someone who sees it differently. Here are three ways to have one.

  1. One person.

Send it to someone who sees it differently, then ask what they made of it. You know someone.

  2. A couch.

Put it on your TV with a few friends, press play, then talk. Ten people and a pizza is plenty.

  3. A room.

A classroom, a library, a church hall, a club, a range, a workplace. Tell us and we’ll help you set it up.

How to talk about it

“Is your goal here to teach people, or is your goal here to hear people?”
Adam Winkler, in the film
  1. Listen to understand. Not to reply.
  2. Say it back. Before you respond, say what you heard.
  3. Speak for yourself. Your own life, not a side.
  4. Assume good faith. And stay curious.
